Course dates
It has been difficult to decide on dates for 2012, because of the Olympics and the 14 juillet falling awkwardly for us. However, here they finally are.
| Week 1: | Sat 16 Jun to Fri 22 Jun 2012 |
| Week 2: | Sat 23 Jun to Fri 29 Jun 2012 |
| Week 3: | Sat 14 Jul to Fri 20 Jul 2012 (see note below) |
| Week 4: |
Sat 21 Jul to Fri 27 Jul 2012 |
| Week 5: | Sat 18 Aug to Fri 24 Aug 2012 |
| Week 6: | Sat 25 Aug to Fri 31 Aug 2012 |
| Week 7: | Sat 08 Sep to Fri 14 Sep 2012 |
Note: Week 3 includes 14 juillet celebrations, but accommodation in the mill is not available for this week. There is a possibility of arriving a day early in order to participate in the Suèvres street party on the 13th and in the village festivities on the 14th. If arriving on the 14th, you will still be able to join in the retraite aux flambeaux and the village fireworks at night. If you choose to arrive on the 13th, the additional cost will be £60.
Course price
Because the inclusive price for the courses and for staying en famille and at the Mill are the same we prefer to give you the total cost, which will remain as for last year i.e. £730 excluding travel, but including:
- Accommodation - 6 Nights with 'host' family, or in the Mill (see Home Page).
- All your meals, including:
- Daily breakfast and dinner with your hosts (except as below and on the first night when you will have dinner with us at our house in rue St Martin)
- Working lunches - usually in the garden of our house in rue St Martin
- Dinner in a Suèvres restaurant to enable you to sample local life
- Final repas communal on the last night at our house in rue St Martin
- Tutoring - 6 days intensive tutoring + course materials (loose-leaf ring-binder, teaching handouts and notes, all stationery)
- Excursions - trips to nearby places of interest such as the awesome grounds of Le Château de Chambord or Le Château de Blois and the town of Blois itself.
Because all your meals are provided all that you will need otherwise is pocket-money for coffees and drinks out.
Travel is not included, but we will collect you from Mer railway station
between 3 and 6 pm and bring you to Suèvres by car if you let us know which
train you will be on, and we will return you to the station at the end
of the course.
