Our latest news
2008 was a busy year for Immersion France.
We were pleased to meet many new students while welcoming back returnees. The seven weeks rushed by and although the weather was not as sunny as previous years we were still able to eat in the garden most days and enjoy Pierrette Garnier's wonderful French food.
All our host families remain with us and we have several new families welcoming IF students into their home.
We teachers are all
well. Françoise is spending more time now in
Suèvres and less in Paris, as her home in the village takes
shape.
Penny has now retired, apart from some teaching on her MA in
translation, and has become a grandmother twice in the space of two
months. Her new DVD/CD Rom course on pronunciation is available now at www.soundsfrench.co.uk
I'm starting to teach what will probably be my last Open University course this January and will then be devoting more time to Immersion France.
It's good to have news from any former IF students so please keep those postcards and emails coming! And don't hesitate to contact me if you want advice about our courses.
With best wishes
Jane McAdoo
